Okay, let's get started. 1. Send relevant, valuable content from your blog. 1. Send relevant, valuable content from your blog. The majority of emails that you send to your database should be of value to them. Create videos, blogs, checklists, and other useful assets that will help your target customers. 2. Be concise in your emails. Use no more than three sentences and get to the point quickly. 3. Have a clear, short call to action. Depending on where the customer is in your nurturing campaign, this could be to 'click through to read more' on your blog or 'watch a video'. When you've offered several useful pieces of content, only then should you progress to a direct 'buy now' or 'book a meeting' call to action. 4. Include authority in your email signature. This could be a customer testimonial or an industry award; something that supports you as the expert in your industry. 5. Follow up with more valuable content. Email marketing requires patience and a commitment to producing useful content that your prospects are happy to receive.
